This Warranty & Quality Assurance Policy outlines our commitment to product reliability and customer confidence.

1. Overview

Our warranty ecosystem is grounded in:

This policy covers manufacturing defects and quality inconsistencies, ensuring customers receive products that align with KOSU HEMP’s performance standards.

2. Warranty Coverage

KOSU HEMP offers a 30-day limited warranty on all apparel products, applicable from the date of delivery.

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Stitching inconsistencies

  • Button, zipper, or trim failures

  • Fabric defects (weaving faults, unexpected pilling, structural inconsistencies)

  • Color irregularities due to production issues

What is NOT covered:

  • Damage due to misuse, improper care, or wear and tear

  • Fading due to natural washing cycles

  • Shrinkage caused by incorrect washing or ironing practices

  • Perfume stains, deodorant marks, sweat stains

  • Damage from external factors (sharp objects, mishandling, accidents)

  • Altered or modified garments

  • Products kept in damp, mold-prone conditions

3. Quality Control (QC) Framework

Every garment undergoes a three-tier QC regimen:

3.1 Pre-production QC

  • Fabric inspection

  • Color fastness checks

  • Construction blueprint verification

3.2 In-line QC

  • Seam accuracy

  • Fit calibration

  • Trim robustness

  • Pattern alignment

3.3 Final QC

  • Ironing & finishing evaluation

  • Defect detection

  • Packaging integrity

No garment is dispatched unless it meets our internal AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) standards.

4. How to Claim Warranty

4.1 Reporting Issue

Customer must report a defect within 30 days of delivery by submitting:

  • Order ID

  • Clear images and videos

  • Description of the issue

4.2 Assessment

Our QC team evaluates whether the issue qualifies under warranty.

4.3 Resolution Pathways

If approved, customers may receive:

  • Replacement unit (priority dispatch)

  • Repair (if applicable)

  • Store credit or refund in special cases

5. Warranty Claim Processing Timeline

6. Conditions for Warranty Void

Warranty claim will be rejected if:

  • Product is used beyond normal wear

  • Care instructions have been ignored

  • Product is washed incorrectly (hot wash, bleach, harsh scrubbing, dryer use on delicate fabrics)

  • Fabric or trims damaged due to external factors

  • Garment has been altered, tailored, dyed, or repaired elsewhere

  • No evidence (photo/video) is provided

7. Care & Maintenance Responsibility (Customer Obligation)

Warranty applies only if the customer adheres to KOSU HEMP’s care instructions:

General Care Guidelines

  • Wash in cold water

  • Avoid bleach and harsh detergents

  • Do not wring

  • Store in cool, dry areas

  • Iron on low to medium settings

  • Follow garment-specific label instructions

Failure to follow recommended guidelines will void warranty eligibility.

8. Sustainability Commitment in Warranty Handling

KOSU HEMP ensures eco-responsible warranty resolutions by:

  • Prioritizing repair over replacement where viable

  • Recycling or repurposing defective products

  • Using low-impact logistic channels for replacements

This approach reduces waste and reinforces our environmental stewardship.

9. Policy Governance & Modifications

KOSU HEMP reserves the right to:

  • Update warranty protocols

  • Modify claim eligibility

  • Adjust remediation approaches based on production advancements and regulatory shifts
